DAV Public School, SECL, Bhatgaon was set up in 1997 after a joint agreement between DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi and Enterprise. As per the agreement, the school structure is a composite, co-educational senior secondary school in English Medium from Class LKG to leading to Class XII on public school lines in a phased manner. The school is directly governed and controlled by DAV CMC, New Delhi however the day-to-day management of school including financial control vests with the Local Managing Committee. The school is affiliated with CBSE New Delhi (Aff No. 3330036). Currently the school is going through the Sixteenth Academic session, which started from 2nd April 2012 and will completed on 31st March 2013. Classes from LKG to XII in science and Commerce stream are running during this session. There are 38 sections in all accommodating nearly 1645 children in the school. Being a project school, run by SECL, Bhatgaon Area, SECL is providing all amenities like water, electricity etc. Furniture, Science equipment, sports materials, library books etc. are also being provided by the enterprise from time to time as per the requirements.
