Mata Punna Devi DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Kalanwali - A positive haven for learning was started in July 1994 by the joint efforts of DAV College Managing Committee , New Delhi and Late Sh. Tej Bhan Singla , a Philantthropist. Late Sh. Tej Bhan Singla , a magnanimous and generous personality of Kalanwali dreamt to start an educational institution in the sweet memory of his late wife Smt. Punna Devi. To give it a practical shapel and to fulfil their father's noblest dream, 8 acres of land was donated by his four sons Late Sh. Khushi Ram Singla , Sh. Ved Parkash Singla , Sh. Darshan Kumar Singla and Sh. Narender Kumar Singla. M.P.D.DAV Senior Secondary Public School is an English Medium, Co -educational, CBSE affiliated and Directly Managed by DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi .
